Think Skin Care

Your skin is one of the most valuable assets of your body. Not only does it help act as a protective layer for all the organs packed inside your body, but it also contributes to your appearance. People judge your appearance, age and even mood from your skin. Skin which is looked after properly can make you a healthier and a better looking person too’so start looking after it!

It’s important to keep your skin clean at all times. Wash your skin gently but thoroughly and use an appropriate cleanser. Once it’s clean, exfoliate to remove the layers of dead cells which are dulling your skin. By exfoliating your skin, your skin will start to breathe now that its pores have been opened up. This should be followed by the use of a toner to tighten up the pores and re-vitalize the skin. Finish this off with a moisturizer which will help nourish your skin and maintain the moisture balance of your skin. It will also supply your skin with the oils necessary for a glowing complexion.

Always remember that it’s extremely important to exfoliate your skin on a weekly basis so as to remove any dirt, grime and dust which may have gathered on your skin’s surface. By exfoliating, not only will the dead skin cells be removed but you will be ridden of other impurities too. This will help unblock your skin pores and make sure that your skin won’t be attacked by blackheads or pimples!

When you start thinking skin care, it’s important that you start thinking about WHAT skin care you are going to use too. Don’t use products made up of harsh and strong chemicals. Products made up of natural ingredients and herbs are better for the skin and will probably contain plenty of vitamins and minerals which your body is thirsty for.

If you are planning to leave the shelter of your house during broad daylight, don’t forget your SUNSCREEN! That’s right!
